​*As part of the organization’s succession planning, the candidate will be evaluated for both the Primary Role and their potential for the role of Executive Director.  

Job Opportunity Summary

Do you have corporate-sector skills with an NGO heart? 

We are seeking an experienced professional with an interest and passion for community service in the field of mental health, and a desire to learn and potentially grow into a management position. 

The organization: 

Established in 1980, In Touch’s vision is to see all people valuing mental health and emotional well-being and be able to access high-quality mental health services. In Touch contributes to this vision of enabling individuals to have healthy coping mechanisms and realize their potential by being a leading provider of mental health services in the Philippines through counseling, workshops, outreach. The organization is unique in that we serve local and international clients from corporate employees to subsidized individuals.  Our counseling and support team similarly reflects our client demographic with more than 5 nationalities represented.    

Key highlights of the role: 
  • An individual contributor with responsibility for creating and implementing key policies and processes related to data, premises, operational and people risk.
  • A key member of the senior team who will contribute to the improvement and strategic direction of the organization’s overall operations and social programs by consulting collaboratively with the other team members. 
  • A project lead to new, diverse projects that will help the individual learn about all facets of the organization. 
  • The back-up to the ED on a temporary basis (ED vacation or sickness) to oversee: Operations, Finances, Projects and Programs.
  • This is a new role, reporting directly to the Executive Director.

The attributes of the candidate:

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty/function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or ability required.

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience with demonstrated exceptional results
  • Leadership experience
  • Well-rounded business acumen- breadth of roles and experiences
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment
  • A strategic thinker yet able to manage day to day operations
  • Passion for Mental Health advocacy
  • Familiarity with Non-Profit operations in the Philippines (desirable)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, set priorities, work independently yet ask for support appropriately
  • Excellent communication, influence and relationship building skills
  • Problem solver 
  • Desire to learn new knowledge and skills
  • Fluent in English; Tagalog desirable. ​
