Internship & Youth Advocacy

Internship Program

Over the past couple years, In Touch has strived to not only provide exceptional care to those in need of support, but also to serve as a training ground for future mental health professionals and practitioners. That is why, in 2019, our very own Internship Program was created. Today, we have 3 different programs for Psychology and Guidance & Counseling students:
  • Graduate Internship program (for MA and Ph.D candidates);
  • Undergraduate Internship Program; and
  • Summer Internship Program for Senior High (coming soon!).

Led by Michelle Lim, the Internship Team continuously partners with schools and universities to provide an ample amount of practicum hours and a holistic learning experience for students. Each program is unique in its own right, but all share the same goal. For those of you reading that are interested in our Internship Program, our best hope is to help you along your journey towards becoming mental health carers and leaders!

Youth Advocacy

Our Internship Program does not stand alone — alongside it is the Youth Advocacy Program. Built upon the firm belief in the potential and well-being of the youth, the YA Program aims to be a resource for the youth and their carers (e.g., parents, teachers, school administrators, etc.). One of the many ways we do that is through our very own
Virtual Kapihan Learning Series, where we provide workshops and webinars on different relatable topics to the youth, such as Stress Management, Self Compassion and Change & Acceptance. It is a safe space to talk and to share, to learn and to laugh!

If you're interested in the Kapihan Learning Series or partnering with In Touch for your school/organization, send an email to: youthadvocacy@in-touch.org.

Here’s to working with and for #YOUth!
