     Ms. Liza Dey specializes in psychotherapy for children and adolescents, who are struggling behaviorally and emotionally and may have experienced perplexing life experiences (i.e. difficult family transitions, adjustment and trauma) or are trying to manage developmental challenges (i.e. ADHD and autism). Concomitantly, she had conducted counseling to parents and promoted child and family wellness through seminars or lectures given to parents in school, offices, social workers, law enforcement personnel to name a few.

     She obtained her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University; holds a professional license and a certification as a Clinical Psychologist. She is also a registered play therapist (RPT) with the Association for Play Therapy (APT) in the United States of America. She’s received additional training in AutPlay® a special play therapy process with children having neurodevelopmental challenges. She has finished her training hours in Jungian Sandplay Therapy with the International Society for Sandplay Therapy (Switzerland).

    She likewise has involved herself in a number of in-depth clinical researches on children and their families in especially difficult circumstances. She co-authored researches on psycho-social rehabilitation of victims of natural disasters, domestic violence, poverty as well as on the play therapy practice in the Philippines published both locally and internationally. Individually, she authored an article in the Philippine Journal of Psychology on the Cognitive Processes of Sexually Abused Girls.
